I get a picture message from home base while at work today. There was no caption attached to it, so I’ll provide one: “Poop in the potty.” This must be how parents feel when they attend their kids’ college graduation. I’m literally beaming with pride.

Early this morning I took a leak in the dark and when I flushed it sounded like the A train passed through. “JACKET, what did you put in the potty?!” I shouted. “Wocks.” she replied. Why I didn’t stop there I have no idea but instinctually I asked “Rocks and WHAT?” to which she answered “A doll.”
